KARACHI: Chairman Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Mustafa Kamal on Sunday slammed PSP’s doors shut for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar for good saying that his politics had been buried, ARY News reported.
He said this while talking to media at Pakistan House after MQM member of provincial assembly Sumeeta Afzal Syed announced joining the PSP.
Lambasting the MQM leader, Kamal said it was the end of Farooq Sattar’s politics. He said people were turning to the PSP for they had made children of Muhajir community enemy to each other and then used them as a product to stage drama for seeking rights so that their politics could be kept alive.
He also slammed intra-party conflicts in MQM. He asked if the alleged videos with MQM leader Kamran Tessori were given by his party. You guys split Rabita Committee, was it also a job of the PSP, he questioned.
The PSP chairman revealed that Farooq Sattar personally told him that he would play politics on the basis of sentiments of Muhajirs.
“Farooq also met (PSP president) Anees Qaimkhani and expressed his desire to join the PSP.
“I have always said I would never shut my party’s doors on anybody but viewing the existing situation I announce to shut PSP’s doors for him for good,” he said.
Mustafa Kamal said MQM’s PIB and Bahadurabad factions were conspiring against their community.
“Missing Muhajir youth were being release, however they made this process stop as they want them to remain missing so that they could use their families for their personal gains,” he said.
