Wrestler Muhammad Inam made his country proud by winning the first gold medal for Pakistan in 86kg category freestyle men’s wrestling in Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast.

Inam defeated Nigeria’s Melvin Bibo who picked up the silver medal in the final game. Pakistani wrestler won the fight by 6-0.

The 29-year-old wrestler played four fights and won all of them. He also won the fight against Indian wrestler Somveer.

Athletes from Pakistan have also won four bronze during the games. The same day Tayyab Raza claimed a  bronze medal in 125 kg category.
