The Doom VFR Bundle is dropping from $399.99 to $299.99 while the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR Bundle is going from $449.99 to $349.99.
Sony is making it a little more affordable to snag a PlayStation VR bundle and get into virtual reality gaming.
Starting tomorrow, the PlayStation VR Doom VFR Bundle, which normally sells for $399.99 in the US, will be discounted to $299.99. That box includes a PS VR headset, PlayStation Camera, PS VR Demo Disc 2.0, and the Doom VFR Blu-ray Disc.
Also included in the sale is the PlayStation VR The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR Bundle. That bundle would normally set you back $449.99 in the US, but starting tomorrow, it will drop to $349.99. That package includes a PS VR headset, PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move controllers, the PS VR Demo Disc 2.0, and the Skyrim VR core game plus all official add-ons.
“This new pricing provides an even greater value for PlayStation fans at a perfect time, with must-play PS VR titles like Moss and Sprint Vector,” PlayStation Marketing VP Mary Yee wrote in a blog post. “There is also plenty to look forward to this year like Firewall Zero Hour, Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality, WipEout Omega Collection, Blood & Truth and many others.”
At this point, there are 220 PS VR-supported titles available in the US. More than 180 additional PS VR “games and experiences” are slated to launch before the end of the year.
PS VR earned an excellent rating in PCMag’s review, “Virtual reality is still a technical novelty you need to be committed to before you spend the cash, but PlayStation VR stands out in price and ease of use,” we wrote.
