Xbox Live Gold members will get The Witness, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Cars 2: The Video Game, and Dead Space 2 for free next month.
Heads up, Xbox gamers: Microsoft just announced the list of games Xbox Live Gold members will receive for free in April.
Next month’s Games with Gold lineup includes 3D puzzler The Witness and action-adventure title Assassin’s Creed Syndicate on Xbox One, as well as racing title Cars 2: The Video Game and the science=fiction survival horror game Dead Space 2 on Xbox 360. As usual, both Xbox 360 titles will also work on the Xbox One thanks to the console’s backward-compatibility feature.
The Witness, which normally sells for $39.99, will be free for members to download all month long. Cars 2: The Video Game, normally $19.99, will be available from the start of the month through April 15.
Then, starting April 16, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, normally $49.99, and Dead Space 2, normally $19.99, will be free to download via the Gold section on your console or the web. Dead Space 2 will only be available through April 30 while Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be free to download until May 15.
Games with Gold first launched in the summer of 2013, offering free games every month to those with an Xbox Live Gold subscription, which costs $10 a month or $60 annually. Besides the free games, a subscription gets you multiplayer capabilities and some exclusive discounts in the Xbox Store.
Members can still pick up some games from this month’s Game with Gold lineup, including the single-player title Trials of the Blood Dragon, the award-winning first-person shooter Superhot, and the puzzle-platformer Quantum Conundrum.
