Cristiano Ronaldo transfer: Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos refuses to rule out exit | Football | Sport

Reports emerged from Spain yesterday claiming Ronaldo had had another furious bust up with Bernabeu chiefs and wanted to leave the club.

Ronaldo has started the season poorly, scoring just once in the league, and and has been embroiled in contract talks.

And Real Madrid captain Ramos remained coy on the story.

“Cristiano is leaving? Ask him, I don’t know about these things,” Ramos said.

Ramos has previously been open about Madrid’s dealings, claiming he’d ‘open the door’ for Neymar to sign.

So his stance on Ronaldo could suggest all is not well and something could happen this coming summer.

Ronaldo wanted to leave Spain last summer after being investigated for tax fraud.

In court he claimed he wanted to return to England but no move materialised and he remained in Madrid.

The European champions have since struggled with Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale all off form.

And now Ronaldo is reported to have told Florentino Perez he wants out for a reasonable price.

“Cristiano has already told the club he wants to leave, he is very angry about the offer of renewal, he considers that he needs more affection, the club does not value him,” journalist Edu Aguirre from ‘El Chiringuito’ said.

“He told Florentino Perez to facilitate the departure for a small fee.”
